Is MK Notary Services authorized to issue apostilles?

No. Under the Hague Convention, only designated Competent Authorities may issue apostilles. In Florida, that is the Florida Department of State (Office of the Secretary of State). MK Notary Services assists with preparation and submission of apostille requests but does not issue apostilles.

Which documents can obtain an apostille?

Many Florida-issued documents may qualify — birth, death, and marriage certificates, court documents, divorce decrees, school transcripts and diplomas, corporate records filed in Florida, and notarized documents.
